I founded Green Grass Cutters in February 2003. It's something I had been wanting to do ever since I tried to hire a
company to mow my lawn with an electric mower and couldn't find one that would.
I've loved the outdoors since I was a child and have been involved in various environmentally related projects.
One project that I'm very proud of is in my home town, the
City of Fairfax. I'm on the City of Fairfax Community Appearance Committee. I initiated a
project back in '00 that would remove some of the excess asphalt in the City. It concentrated on dead-end streets that didn't serve
any purpose. So far five dead ends have been removed and replaced with grass and trees. They now serve as community greenspace
or parkland.
